Qualia is a world class resort located on Hamilton Island. The resort includes 46 villas, restaurants and spa located on 17Ha at the northern end of the island. JHLD was engaged by the Oatley family to design the landscape and oversee installation. Design work began in early 2007 and construction of stage 1 was completed August 2008 with stage 2 completed the following year.
Scope of works undertaken included:
- Extensive consultation over a 2 year period.
- Detailed design of all aspects of the landscape.
- Project management of the installation.
- Procurement of contractors, plants and materials.
